The Fargodome is one of college football's loudest venues, and North Dakota State (5-1, 2-1 Mountain West) wants it rocking. Nevada (2-3, 1-1) visits at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network, and the Bison aim to bounce back from their first loss.
NDSU insider Ingeborg "Inga" Halvorsen is Minnesota-nice until she isn't. Her go-to saying this week is "Oh for cute, they think they can run on us." She points to a Bison defense ESPN ranks 15th and an offense led by Nathan Hayes. Nevada insider Ridge Corbell talks like a Tahoe ski patroller and loves running back Dominic Kelley, who has 440 rushing yards, but admits the quarterback situation is cloudy. Carter Jones is questionable with an elbow injury, and AJ Bianco, a fifth-year senior with three career starts, would start if he can't go.
NDSU lost 13-7 at UNLV last week. Nevada won 30-13 at UTEP. The game is indoors, so weather won't matter. Expect the Bison defense to make Nevada drive the length of the field.
Our call: North Dakota State 27, Nevada 13.
